Scoliosis

Scoliosis is one of the most detrimental spinal conditions that increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular events, reduced lung capacity among other organ failures.

Due to the impact this can present in patients’ lives it is imperative to take proactive action to detect, control and if possible, correct it. It is amazing how by using the CBP traction approach is an effective way to control and even correct early onset scoliosis.

The insidious progression of a scoliosis if detected early in life can help save patients lives. the key is TO BE EVALUATED, and we provide accurate details about scoliosis such as:

  • where it starts? and where it ends?

  • how many degrees the scoliosis?

  • Are there any factors involving pelvic misalignment that can make the scoliosis
    worse?

  • Are there any abnormal congenital formations (Butterfly vertebrae, etc.) that can
    interfere with any treatment options?

  • Is there any pathology (such as osteomyelitis) requiring the patient to have a
    more invasive procedure?

There used to be a protocol in the USA for the care of scoliosis, we still see it; from 1 to 20 degrees scoliosis the provider of choice is the chiropractor which is the least invasive option, from 20 to 40 degrees the provider of choice is the orthopedist, they will focus
on regain of functions by using braces such as the Milwaukee Brace, etc.

and then after 40 degrees it is a neurosurgeon case, in which surgical advice may be the treatment of choice.

Do not delay your health, BE EVALUATED and know where your spinal health is now.
We do not gamble, we evaluate, detailed millimetric variances can impair your feet
alignment and then knee, hip and spine conditions may arise.
This is how we do exam:
