Shoackwave Treatment

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses advanced acoustic (sound) waves to stimulate healing in injured or painful soft tissues. At Expressions of Life Chiropractic, shockwave therapy is often used to help break up stubborn tissue restrictions, increase local blood flow, and “wake up” the body’s repair process, making it a powerful option for nagging issues that haven’t responded to rest alone.

Patients commonly seek shockwave therapy for tendon and ligament pain, plantar fasciitis, shoulder discomfort, hip pain, and overuse injuries. Treatments are quick, require no downtime, and are designed to help reduce pain while accelerating recovery.

Common conditions treated include:

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow

  • Shoulder tendinopathy

  • Knee, hip, and Achilles tendon pain
